Cindy Sheehan on Tour Give me a Break!!

I thought I have seen it all.  As I was reading the morning papers, I was in shock to see the support she is receiving.  I can understand people wanting to support her and her loss.  But they are protesting against all of the other fallen soldiers.   How can groups pay her to go on a national tour to protest the war.  They are saying what these men and women, do for her rights to speak and protest are not worth it.  If this was forty years ago she would not have the rights she has today. How does she think she has all of these free rights.  She must believe in Tinkerbell.  In today's world you do have the right to say and write whatever you want.  But some should really think when you gain national attention and give negative attention to the fallen soldiers.  I pray every day that all of the soldiers deployed all over the world return home safely to there families.  I just think this nation should be grateful that there are people who are willing to risk there lives for the lives of non supporters.  They are true hero's and are the ones who should be getting the media coverage , not Cindy Sheehan.

I Feel that I must comment on this. After my long trek ac cross the country today from Seattle to Charleston SC and talking with different people on the planes.  I am in shock that the media gives Cindy Sheehan the attention she has received.   I understand she has has lost her son in Iraq.  And nothing can ever replace her loss or what she is feeling. But to go and personally blame President Bush is just plain wrong. This is a man who taking the fight to the terrorist to protect us here.  I don't understand why people don't See what he is doing. In all the press about Cindy Sheehan, does the media ever report that President Bush has meet privately with over 900 family members of fallen American soldiers. We don't hear about the heart that President Bush does have. We don't hear about the leadership President Bush has taken.  All we here is the negative. Well I am finally feed up with it.  My husband is in the military on active duty.  Even though I am not in the military I have to give my full faith to my husband and the President that they are doing the right thing.  To achieve any greatness you do have to struggle, and right now the US is going through a struggle.

Sometimes I am so upset with these people who like to oppose the military.Do they not realize that the soldiers who wear the uniform have given them the right to do this.  They take that right for granite and do not realize the fight that went into that right.

Well I think I have jet leg and I am in rage after reading articles about Cindy Sheehan and how we to should pull our troops out of Iraq.  We just need to hang in there finish the fight and prevail.  The world will be a better place to raise our children

Here we go again trying to get the hang of this blogging.  Should I talk about current events? Or just life in general?  First of all I am so proud of my husband. He introduced me to the world of blogging back in March when he was doing his research paper for his masters.  He wrote and an awesome paper and had an amazing site.  Which you all might know is AirForceVoices.com, I thought he should of one an award for his paper. But back in May they did not show much interest in blogging and the military. Well now it is August and some have taken notice of what he wrote.  They are going to publish his paper!!!  A few months too late, but I am just thankful someone finally had enough sense to read his paper and see his work.  I might be one sided in this.  But he is truly amazing and has a lot of insight.  I am just a very proud wife.

So now I have that off my chest back to the real world or something funny for the day. As for any of you that might know me, I love anything that makes me laugh. There is so much in this world that is not positive that I just love a good laugh.

To be honest I am behind in current events today. I did learn one thing that I thought was a great idea they are trying to have catch on here.  It is called ICE ( In Case of Emergency) you program this into your cell phone and emergency personal can look through your cell phone and see if you have this. This could save your life if you have a medical condition. They can call the person you have designated as ICE, and find out if you have a serious condition.  Every one should do this. It has prov-en to save time and life's. J
