Volcker Report

The independent inquiry into the Oil for Food program is available online.

I couldn't open the document...maybe you'll have better luck.

However, Roger L. Simon has an short summary and Powerline has Senator Coleman's statement.  Finally, Move America Forward has an excellent summary as well.

Move America Forwards states the report

"ill advisably jumps to conclusions that absolve the U.N. and Kofi Annan of corruption and wrongdoing, despite mounting evidence to the contrary."

Also, it appears UN Secretary General Kofi Annan is defiant in all this.  Fox News reports the following (HT: Powerline)

"Asked at a Tuesday news conferences if he was going to quit his post at the United Nations, Annan said: "Hell no."

Finally, Michelle Malkin has a great summary with several links to other bloggers and newpapers around the world.

Michelle Malkin also mentions that our own State Department is expressing confidence in Kofi Annan...I wonder if someone at State has been reading Powerline's latest post.  Heh heh.
